The City of Cordele provides a  reliable water system with a capacity of 9 million gallons per day (MGD). Multiple elevated storage tanks maintain consistent water pressure for residential, commercial, and industrial users.

 Cordele's modern wastewater treatment facility has a 5 MGD capacity and uses advanced biological treatment to efficiently process wastewater. The system is designed to support future community and industrial growth.

 The City of Cordele owns and operates its own natural gas distribution system, providing dependable service for homes and businesses. A supplemental propane-air plant ensures reliable service during peak winter demand.

 Crisp County operates a solid waste landfill on Highway 41 South. Private waste from county businesses and industries is accepted.

Cordele / Crisp County provides some of the most inexpensive electrical power in the southeastern United States. The local hydroelectric plant is also backed up by a steam-powered turbine and a coal-fired generating plant. As a founding member of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG), wholesale power is also purchased. When combined with electrical power generated locally, an exceptionally competitive industrial rate is available.
