Welcome to Cordele, in Crisp County, Georgia
Home of the Cordele Inland Port
® and Lake Blackshear

A place that is leading the way into a new economy. While Cordele, Georgia has strong agricultural roots and this sector remains vitally important to our economy, our rail lines, local airport and our location on Interstate 75 position us ideally for logistics-dependent industries and import-export businesses throughout south Georgia, northern Florida and eastern Alabama. We are only 200 miles from the Port of Savannah by rail, and conveniently located in relation to other Southeastern ports at Charleston, South Carolina, Brunswick, Georgia, and Jacksonville, Florida.

Cordele-Crisp County is the only Georgia community along I-75 that is served by three major railroads: CSX, Norfolk Southern, and the Heart of Georgia Railroad. Taking full advantage of these resources is the Cordele Inland Port® that provides direct rail access to the Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah, Georgia.

While Cordele's Inland Port®, logistics benefits and incentives make Cordele and Crisp County, Georgia, an ideal location for you to grow your business, it is also a great place to live. Quality of life provides the best in educational, recreational and cultural opportunities. Small town charm, comfortable neighborhoods, boating and recreation at Lake Blackshear, golf at championship courses, or shopping in our many specialty stores ensures you'll feel right at home.

Please explore this site to learn about our inland port, available sites and buildings, incentives, infrastructure, workforce, and quality of life.
